Beren deMotier is a Carol Brady in Levi's/tattooed Madonna in a mini-van, lesbian mama obsessed with safety, doing the right thing, and the amount of dog hair on her wood floors. Her writing has been described as "charming, sexy and appealing" with a "rowdy and bawdy sense of humor".  She's written for Greenlight.com, Curve Magazine, And Baby Magazine, Proud Parenting Magazine, The Lesbian Review of Books, eHow.com, the Oregonian, and glbt newspapers across the nation. When she is not writing, doing laundry or driving children all over town, she paints portraits of dogs, because they are less vain than humans, but share our frailty.  She lives in Portland with her spouse of twenty years and their three children.
